A Surgical mask also known as Procedure Mask or face mask Is used for healthcare procedures. It is designed to protect healthcare workers from coming in direct contact with the immediate customers or patients. They are not as efficient as N95 or KN95 masks and are not used for protection against airborne bacteria or viruses. They may vary in quality and levels of protection. They are made up of three layers; the upper and outer layer is made up of Non-woven material, the middle layer is made up of Melt-Blown material and the inner layer is made up of PP non-woven material.
